Today, I sewed a few more baby angel gowns, then felt the need to move around instead of sitting in my comfy chair, so I opened boxes that contained wedding dresses that were professionally preserved. Here are a few that I opened today. I have a few more to open so they will be featured another time. To read a little about the preservation process here is a link. So, I had to use scissors to pop the seal. Then opened the box. The dress was carefully placed and some included tissue paper or had a cardboard form holding the top part of the dress.
One at a time, I placed the dress on the dress form that was given to me by my children because I make myself clothes on occasion . I take a picture of the front of the dress, then turn it around and take a picture of the back. I need to break out my 35mm camera so the pictures look more professional!
I do have enough dresses that I can concentrate on using 2 dresses a month to make the baby angel gowns. It’s a slow process so be patient with me. It’s nice that Dawn has volunteered to sew baby gowns and Sandra is taking the dresses apart and will bring the pieces to me for sewing.
If you would like to help with either of these tasks, let me know!
